IXQuestions

What people ask us most.

Do you supply only the food or also the monitors?

Both services are included. We have our own in-house monitor team, not subcontracted, all with the official Educational Leisure Activities Monitor degree from the Catalan Government. Each school has an assigned coordinator who talks directly with the management. The monitors manage the meal, special diets at the table, and free activities until the end of the shift. Labour relations regulated by the Catalan Educational Leisure collective agreement.

What sets you apart as a professional catering company?

We have a professional team with 28 years of craft, HACCP-certified central kitchen, our own Quality Department that validates every menu, full traceability of each lot and ASPCAT coverage. Full compliance with RD 3484/2000 and RD 315/2025 — all regulations covered with the care of a family that cooks for yours.

How do you handle allergens and intolerances?

We adapt every menu to all the special diets required (gluten-free, egg-free, lactose-free, legume-free, nut-free, fish-free, cow-protein-free, pork-free, meat-free, vegetarian, halal and others). Every dish carries the EU 1169/2011 allergen matrix visible. Families with severe allergies receive their plate with a nominative label and traceable lot.

Do you cook on-site or bring the food made?

We offer both service lines. If the school has its own kitchen, we can cook on-site with our own team and full HACCP management. If not, we cook every morning at our HACCP-certified central kitchen in Sabadell and transport in isothermal boxes with temperature control — at the school it's heated on the spot. We study each centre and recommend the formula that fits best.

Does the menu follow nutritional regulations?

Each menu is validated by our team of dietitians following RD 315/2025 and the Catalan Government nutrition guidelines for school age. Balance protein/carbs/vegetable, sugar control, daily fresh fruit, fish 1-2 times/week.

What area do you cover?

We serve the whole Vallès Occidental, Vallès Oriental, Barcelonès and Baix Llobregat. Our central kitchen is in Sabadell. For centres further away, we study each case — currently, we have 39 schools within this area.

Can we try the service before committing?

Yes. We do a free sample of a complete menu in your school's kitchen-canteen, so that management, the parents' association and a group of pupils can try it.

How are daily orders managed?

We have our own web portal (School Orders) where each centre can place daily or monthly orders. We also have a web for the sale of canteen tickets for families. Everything integrated.

Do you also work with kindergartens?

Yes. We serve several kindergartens and nurseries in the Vallès. We have specific menus for 0-3 years: gradual textures (purees, mashed, solids by age), no added salt or honey (infant botulism risk), adapted portions.

Do you adapt menus to infant ages (0-3 years, P3-P5)?

Each age range has its own menu: 0-12 months (only if the centre offers it), 12-24 months, 2-3 years, P3-P5 and Primary. The main difference is texture, quantity and spices (never spicy in infant). Our dietitian team validates each dish according to the AESAN guides for preschool age.
